Hey everyone, there’s a lot of stuff planned for Club Penguin in this new month. Here are some pictures of what we can expect to see.

A Club Penguin related ice sculpture is going to be made for Canada’s annual winter carnival and we get to choose what it will be. Vote in the poll below for which image you would like to see as an ice sculpture.

After voting be sure to comment telling us which one you liked the most. The results will be posted in February.

The cave expeditions have finally begun, to start mining first grab a free helmet in the Mine.

Once you have that, head into the caves. There is a lot of stuff going on in the first room, you can help out by using the drill or by lighting up the room with snowballs.

If you use the drill in four different places in the room you can collect parts of a pin and once you get all four parts you can add the pin to your inventory and enter another room.

The second room looks very nice and is definitely one of my favorites, so be sure to check it out. Members can get a new item called the Deep Sea Diving Suit from this room as well.

Members can also access another room that is completely underwater! In this room there is a background, who knows what else might turn up.

The mine expedition is by far the most exciting of the upcoming events, everyone is wondering what could be in there and tomorrow we’ll be able to find out.

A lot has been happening at the Mine, and starting Friday we’ll be able to see exactly what is going on. Here is a sneak peek of what we’ll be seeing.

In other news, we at Penguin Lodge are aware of the chat issues and are working hard to fix them. Our top priority right now is to fix the chat and get it up as soon as possible.

Here are the upcoming events in Club Penguin.

January 15th:

The furniture and igloo catalogs will be cave themed. We can expect items such as rock chairs, couches, and all other kinds of rock based furniture. There might even be a rock like igloo!

January 29th:

In other news, we recently made a post about the server upgrade. Unfortunately we’ve still been having some minor problems with things like the Club Penguin Money Maker, however we’re working hard on fixing them. It should be up from time to time so if it’s down when you’re on, be sure to keep checking.

The Fairy Fables play has finally returned to the stage, unfortunately there are no new items in the stage catalog. There is however a new postcard catalog.

Also, an unanticipated event has occurred. If you go to the Mine you will see that there has been a landslide.

A lot of people voted and the results for the nominees are in. Winning the New Play vote with 58% of the votes was Underwater Adventure. The Penguins That Time Forgot, one of the five original plays, will not be included in the second Penguin Play Awards after receiving the lowest amount of votes.

If you notice, the play that one four of the five awards in the last Penguin Play Awards, The Quest For the Golden Puffle, almost lost at the nomination voting. What could this mean for the Second Penguin Play Awards? We’ll just have to wait to find out.

In other news, we have learned that the new furniture catalog coming out on January 15th will feature cave items. Leave a comment telling us what you think will be in the catalogs.
